The CAS Research Council is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to assess the challenges and responses associated with the new cost of risk associated with the rise of the virtual workspace.
The full program of sessions at the 2022 ASTIN and AFIR/ERM Virtual Actuarial Colloquia, June 21-24, is now posted to the Colloquia website.
The CAS is thrilled to announce that both the 2022 Annual Meeting and the 2022 Casualty Loss Reserve Seminar will be hybrid events, with options for in-person or virtual attendance. The in-person components will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota and St. Louis, Missouri respectively and the virtual option will include opportunities to participate in several livestream sessions per day of each event.

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) announced a new Online Course on Data Concepts in a December news post outlining changes to CAS’s 2023 credentialing requirements. This new course will provide candidates with P&C industry knowledge and data skills that will prepare them with job-ready capabilities for entry-level actuarial positions.
