Presenting at a CAS meeting is an opportunity to contribute to the profession, engage with peers, and help shape the conversations driving property and casualty actuarial practice forward.

Submit Spring Meeting Proposal

The Spring Meeting Working Group (SMWG) issues the Call for Presentations for the 2027 Spring Meeting.

Target Audience
  • Experienced property and casualty actuaries who apply integrated expertise to solve complex problems and influence decision-making.
  • Advanced specialists who design innovative solutions and lead cross-functional teams across organizations.
Conference Themes

Your session submission should be able to address one of the following themes for the event:

  • Data, Analytics, and Technical Tools
    • Advanced Technical Skills (Excel, SQL, R, Python, XGBoost, TensorFlow)
    • Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning
    • Data Engineering/Management
  • AI, Emerging Technology, and Innovation
    • Generative AI
    • Emerging Technology (FinTech, Drones, Autonomous Vehicles)

Requirements
  • Concurrent Sessions are 60 minutes, inclusive of Q&A
  • Must have 2-3 speakers per concurrent session (not including moderators)*
  • Speakers must travel in-person to present
  • Be prepared to repeat the session at the event
