The CAS is currently developing an online course for actuaries in Vietnam. As part of the course, we plan to translate most of the Exam 5 ratemaking (Werner & Modlin) and reserving (Friedland) study notes into Vietnamese.
The CAS is seeking volunteer mentors to participate in the 2022 CAS Student Central Summer Program, an eight-week interactive professional and educational experience for university students spanning June 13 thru August 5! This free online program, designed by practicing actuaries, will support students’ career growth by providing technical and soft skill development through a series of weekly modules.
The Exam Working Group needs volunteers for question writing for Exam 6U. Question writing will take place over the next 2 months. No travel is required, although there is an in-person summit if interested.
Spring 2022 grading will once again have an optional, in-person session! We look forward to the opportunity of seeing you in person again!
