The CAS has released its schedule of 2024 examinations, which will be administered via computer-based testing at Pearson VUE Professional Centers.

The CAS Admissions team is looking for volunteers to help with the new Property and Casualty Predictive Analytics (PCPA) requirement for ACAS. This offering will feature both an examination and a hands-on project component, designed to help candidates and professionals in the actuarial field gain a deeper understanding of key concepts and improve their predictive capabilities.

We are looking for subject matter experts who are familiar with predictive analytics. The Admissions team is looking for volunteers to perform the role of Grader this November - December. A Grader is expected to have a strong understanding of all covered topics for the exam and project, which are described in the PCPA content outline.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with Standard Setting for the first offering of PCPA.

In support of the goals of the Admissions Transformation Plan to offer new study materials to candidates, the CAS has released the Spring 2023 Post Exam Summary.

The General Officer of the CAS Syllabus and Examination Committee has released a memorandum outlining approved changes for the May 2024 CAS source materials.

The Exam MAS-I (Modern Actuarial Statistics I) working group is looking for volunteers to round out their writing roster. A Writer is someone who has passed the exam and is expected to have a strong understanding of covered topics for the exam. The Writer may be a top performer from a recent exam sitting. Additionally, a Writer is either a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, or an Associate who does not plan to take any CAS exams within the next three years.
