The CAS Monograph Prize is awarded biennially by the CAS Monograph Editorial Board to recognize authors who have made significant contributions to actuarial literature through a CAS monograph.
CAS monographs are authoritative, peer-reviewed, in-depth works that provide comprehensive treatment of important topics in property and casualty actuarial practice. The Monograph Prize honors excellence in innovation, educational value, practical impact, and overall quality of presentation and supporting materials. The recipient of the CAS Monograph Prize receives a $10,000 cash award and the opportunity to present the monograph at a CAS meeting or webinar.
