The CAS is launching an ambitious new project that will shape the future of actuarial expertise: the Actuarial Professional Analysis (APA).
In support of the goals of the Admissions Transformation Plan to offer new study materials to candidates, the CAS has released the October/November 2023 Post Exam Summary and a new sample exam.
The CAS Admissions team is looking for volunteers to help with the new Property and Casualty Predictive Analytics (PCPA) requirement for ACAS.
Registration is now open for the April/May 2024 CAS Exam Administration.
Quebec Bill 96 includes language requirements for conducting business within Quebec, which requires all educational transactions to be completed in French. Currently, CAS exams and supporting materials are offered only in English, including within Canada.
Registration for the upcoming April/May 2024 exams will open on January 17, 2024.
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and Society of Actuaries (SOA) are working together to explore modifications to their jointly-sponsored Diversity Exam Reimbursement Program. A revised program is expected to be announced in 2024 as soon as the review can be completed; in the interim, the current program has been sunset. The Needs-Based Exam Reimbursement Program will remain available to actuarial candidates who demonstrate financial need.
Candidates who took exams MAS-I or MAS-II received their results on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Candidates who took Exams 5-8 will receive their results on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Results will be released between 2:00 and 3:00 pm ET.
