The CAS expects to release results for the Spring 2021 exams 5-9 at the end of June or in early July. We understand that candidates are eager to know their results and finalize their plans for the Fall 2021 sitting.
The CAS is now accepting applications for the CAS Student Central Summer Program being offered in Mandarin Chinese. The online program will run from Monday, July 12 – Friday, August 20.
The CAS is seeking volunteer mentors to participate in our 2nd annual Student Central Summer Program, an eight-week interactive professional and educational experience for university students spanning June 14 thru August 6th.
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is expanding its pathway options to actuarial credentials with the introduction of a new Exam 6-International that will be offered for the first time during the Fall 2021 exam sitting. The new exam joins three other exams focused on regulation and financial reporting systems in specific jurisdictions: Exam 6-United States, Exam 6-Canada, and Exam 6-Taipei.
As part of the CAS Strategic Approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) adopted by the Board of Directors in September 2020, the CAS has committed to setting concrete goals and maintaining transparency and accountability on progress on our DE&I initiatives.
The CAS has approved the following changes for the Fall 2021 syllabus. Other changes that may be made include modifications to Learning Objectives and Knowledge Statements, as well as edition changes to current citations.
