"Meet the CAS Volunteer Group" is a new series release by the CAS Volunteer Resources Working Group to educate members and volunteers about the work taking place within specific committees, working groups, and task forces.

We are still seeking your help finalizing our exam grading rosters for this sitting, specifically for these exams:

Exam 5: Basic Ratemaking and Estimating Claims Liabilities,
Exam 6U: Regulation and Financial Reporting (US)
Exam 7: Estimating Liabilities, Valuation, and ERM
Exam 9 Financial Risk and Rate of Return.

The CAS is pleased to announce that as part of the Admissions Transformation Plan, computer-based practice exams for the MAS exams will be available again exclusively for candidates that are registered for the spring 2023 sitting of MAS-I and/or MAS-II.

We are excited to announce that the program guide for the 2023 CAS Spring Meeting is now available! The theme for this year's meeting is "Navigate. Predict. Lead." We will be exploring the latest industry trends with a focus on navigating the changing landscape of the insurance industry, predicting future risks and opportunities and leading the field in innovation and thought leadership.

The 2023 CAS Spring Meeting is rapidly approaching, and we’re excited to introduce a new element to the event! In honor of the location and theme of Navigate. Predict. Lead., we invite you to create a paper boat and “sail your way” to Boston.

We are seeking your help finalizing our exam grading rosters for this sitting, specifically for Exam 5: Basic Ratemaking and Estimating Claims Liabilities, Exam 7: Estimating Liabilities, Valuation, and ERM, and Exam 9 Financial Risk and Rate of Return.
