IAA's CRTF released their fifth paper, Climate-Related Disclosures and Risk Management: Standards and Leading Practices.

The Board of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is currently seeking proposals for review and recommendations to enhance the membership association’s governance system. Preference is for a consultant with experience and expertise in working with professional membership associations and Board of Directors’ governance.

As we head into the busy end-of-year season, the CAS recognizes that it may be difficult to stay informed about forthcoming updates being implemented through our Admissions Transformation Plan (ATP), so we are providing a preview at this time.

In our ongoing effort to promote inclusion and diversity, the CAS Board voted unanimously to add an optional profile question to the CAS Member Dashboard and to amend another.

Four CAS members were recently recognized as distinguished leaders on industry lists published by Business Insurance and Digital Insurance.
