The CAS is seeking volunteers who identify as career changers to support the relaunch of the Actuary – A Career Change: Elizabeth M. Mauro Reimbursement Program.
CAS members are invited to join the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) in San Diego, CA, from August 13–15, 2025, for the 2025 OLA Avanza Conference.
CAS members are invited to attend the 2025 Annual Meeting of the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA), scheduled for July 31-August 2, 2025, at The Westin DC Downtown hotel in Washington, DC.
The Casualty Actuarial Society and Society of Actuaries are holding their third annual Actuarial Career Encouragement Symposium on August 15, 2025 in San Diego in conjunction with the 2025 Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) Avanza Conference. The Symposium provides a forum for CAS and SOA members who are passionate about building, retaining, and developing our pipeline of candidates, and you are invited to participate! The event is free to attend.
The CAS Board of Directors has adopted an updated Career Encouragement and Community Building Strategy that reflects member feedback received through an exposure and comment period on the former Strategic Approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) approved in 2022.
