A new report from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) analyzes the impact of marijuana decriminalization on the vehicular accident experience in Canada and the United States. The registration fees for preliminary exams can be a barrier to entry to the actuarial profession, and this new program provides assistance to actuarial candidates who demonstrate financial need, aiding them in their actuarial journey.
