Volunteers Needed for Design Taskforce

The CAS is launching a new task force with relation to the next phase of the Actuarial Professional Analysis (APA), a comprehensive evaluation that allows the CAS to validate or redefine the importance of content areas to current and future actuaries.

The CAS is seeking 10-15 volunteers to serve on a task force who have:

• Familiarity with the topics and domains covered across the MAS exams
• Some experience with syllabus or assessment development, curriculum design, educational content creation, or related work.
• The ability to think strategically about exam structure, candidate progression, and evolving practice needs. 

The task force starts on June 4 and will go throughout the Summer and into September. The time commitment is approximately five hours a month with weekly calls.
