The 2020 Spring Meeting of the Casualty Actuaries of the Southeast (CASE) will be held in Nashville, TN on Monday, March 16, 2020. The meeting will start with breakfast at 8:30 am and is expected to adjourn by 3:45 pm. Business casual attire is recommended.

If you are unable to attend any in-person seminars or meetings, don’t worry, you still have a chance to get continuing education from the convenience of your home or office!
At this time, the CAS is planning to continue with the current exam schedule of holding exams between April 22-29. Candidates who are planning to sit for an exam in late April should stick with those plans and register for the exam by the deadline of March 6.The CAS will provide additional announcements about plans for the exams if there are any changes to the current schedule.
The Virtual Spring Meeting will leverage the same platform [PDF] as the award-winning 2019 CAS InFocus Virtual Seminar, which was recognized with an award for excellence in e-learning programs by Association Trends. The CAS serves over 9,000 members worldwide, and its flagship Associate (ACAS) and Fellow (FCAS) designations are considered the gold standard for property and casualty actuaries around the world.
The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is working with Assessment, Education, and Research Experts (AERE) to validate the necessary task and knowledge statements required for Associates and Fellows of the CAS through a Job Task Analysis (JTA). CAS members received an email on May 28, 2020 from CAS President Steve Armstrong inviting them to complete a survey for the JTA, which will ask members to describe tasks involved in their day-to-day actuarial work. In providing their responses, members have the opportunity to directly influence future updates to the CAS’s credentialing curriculum.
