Results of 2026 CAS Election
Dear CAS Members:
Balloting for the 2026 CAS election has closed and all candidates have been contacted regarding the results.
Yvonne Palm has been elected President-Elect.
Avraham Adler, James Guszcza, Nicole Harrington, and Jeremy Shoemaker have been elected to the Board of Directors.
According to the election procedures approved by the Board, all vote counts are released to the membership. These follow:

A total of 1,423 voting members cast ballots, as compared to 1,644 voting members last year. Thank you to all of the members who cast ballots in this year’s elections.
Finally, as announced earlier this year, the following members were appointed or re-appointed by the Board to serve as Vice Presidents on the Executive Council:
- Rafael Costa, Vice President-International (Newly Appointed)
- Morgan Bugbee, Vice President-Research and Development
- Melissa Huenefeldt, Vice President-Professional Education
- Jason Russ, Vice President-Admissions
- Jaris Wicklund, Vice President-Engagement (Newly Appointed)
Congratulations to the new President-Elect and Board members, and to our new and continuing Vice Presidents. These members will assume their positions at the close of the 2026 Annual Meeting in November.
