Results of 2025 CAS Election

Dear CAS Members:

Balloting for the 2025 CAS election has closed and all candidates have been contacted regarding the results.

Kathleen C. Odomirok has been elected President-Elect.

Shane Barnes, Kim Guerriero, Jamie Mills, and Sharon K. Robinson have been elected to the Board of Directors.

According to the election procedures approved by the Board, all vote counts are released to the membership. These follow:

A proposal to revise the CAS Bylaws was also on the ballot. The Bylaws may be amended by an affirmative vote of 10% of the Fellows or two-thirds of the Fellows voting, whichever is greater. The result of the proposed Bylaws revision is as follows:

Do you approve the adoption of the new proposed CAS Bylaws, replacing the current CAS Constitution and Bylaws?

Yes – 1,031 (78.8%)

No – 278 (21.2%)

This revision was approved.

A total of 1,644 voting members cast ballots, as compared to 1,636 voting members last year. Thank you to all of the members who cast ballots in this year’s elections.

Finally, earlier this year, the following members were appointed or re-appointed by the Board to serve as Vice Presidents on the Executive Council:

  • Keith Berman, Vice President-International
  • Morgan Bugbee, Vice President-Research and Development
  • Melissa Huenefeldt, Vice President-Professional Education (Newly Appointed)
  • Rich Moncher, Vice President-Administration
  • Erin Olson, Vice President-Marketing and Communications
  • Jason Russ, Vice President-Admissions

Congratulations to the new President-Elect and Board members, and to our new and continuing Vice Presidents. These members will assume their positions at the close of the 2025 Annual Meeting in November.
