Registration is Open for CAS October Exams!

Registration is now open for the October 2025 CAS exam administration. The registration deadline is September 23, at 11:59 PM ET. Additional information can be found on the Exam Registration webpage.
Exam Dates
MAS I & MAS II – October 20, 2025 – October 28, 2025
Exam 5, 6-Canada, 6-United States, 6-International, 7 and 8 - October 14, 2025 – October 20, 2025
Exams are available in English and French.
Exam Fees
Please note the fees associated with exams for the October 2025 CAS Exam Sitting, including exam fees and refund/administrative fees. The details can be found in the fees section of the Syllabus of Basic Education, and are listed below for convenience.
Exams MAS-I & MAS-II
- Candidate fee: $550
- Student fee: $440
Exams 5, 6-Canada, 6-United States, 6-International, 7 and 8:
- Candidate Fee: $850
- Student Fee: $680
Other Fees:
- Refund/Cancellation administrative Fee: $200
- Cancellation after September 30, 2025: Forfeiture of exam fee
- No-show Fee: Forfeiture of exam fee and $100 administrative fee

Reminder: New CAS User Portal!
The CAS recently introduced the CAS Portal, our new and improved e-commerce platform and user database. You will need to follow the instructions to update your account in the CAS Portal, if you have not already, in order to register for an exam.
As an active exam candidate, you had a CAS account in our previous system. Please use this link to access our new system.
To purchase and Schedule a CAS Exam:
- Log in to the CAS Portal. If it is your first time logging in to the new portal, the system will prompt you to update your contact information.
- From the home page, scroll down to Administrations and click Register for an Exam.
- Select your desired exam and proceed to checkout.
- After your purchase, click the Home tab, scroll to Administrations, and select My Upcoming Exams.
- Under exam listing, click the Pearson VUE link to schedule your exam.
Study Kits
Study kits are available for purchase in the Bookstore tab of the CAS Portal.
Exam Accommodations
The CAS is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive actuarial community and promoting equality of opportunity along the entire actuarial career path. The CAS recommends candidates who require accommodations to register for their exam and apply for accommodation as early as possible for best exam appointment availability.
Important Note about Exam Discounts for Assistance-Qualified Countries
The process for securing these discounts has changed. If you are a full-time resident of a qualified country, you will now need to request a registration code for each exam sitting. Please review the details about this program on the CAS website before registering for an exam.
