Join Us in Las Vegas: Fall 2026 Graders Needed

Can’t make it to Hawaii for the Annual Meeting? Let us take you to Vegas instead!

The CAS Admissions Department is recruiting volunteer graders for the Fall 2026 exams, and we’d love to have you join us at the Fall Grading Summit in Las Vegas!

Grading is a great way to give back to the actuarial community, connect with fellow actuaries, and gain a behind-the-scenes perspective on the CAS exam process, all while spending a few days collaborating with colleagues in Las Vegas.

We are recruiting graders for:

  • Exam 5 – Basic Ratemaking and Estimating Claims Liabilities
  • Exam 6C – Regulation and Financial Reporting (Canada)
  • Exam 6U – Regulation and Financial Reporting (U.S.)
  • Exam 6I – Regulation and Financial Reporting (International)
  • Exam 7 – Advanced Estimation of Claims Liabilities
  • Exam 8 – Advanced Ratemaking
  • Exam 9 – Risk Management for Actuaries

Fall Grading Summit Details

Location: The Sahara | Las Vegas, Nevada

Dates: November 16–18, 2026

  • November 16: Travel day
  • November 17: Full day of grading
  • November 18: Wrap-up; volunteers may depart at any time

There will be some virtual work before and after the summit. Virtual participation at the summit is an option for those who are unable to travel.

CAS reimburses eligible travel expenses for volunteers attending the summit.
