Join the Admissions Writing Summit in Boston in April!
The CAS Admissions Department is recruiting for item writers to join us in historic Boston, MA, this April 12-14 at the Royal Sonesta!
We’re seeking writers for these upcoming exams:
- MAS-I & MAS-II (Modern Actuarial Statistics)
- PCPA (P&C Predictive Analytics)
- Exam 6C (Regulation & Financial Reporting – Canada)
- Exam 6I (Regulation & Financial Reporting – International)
- Exam 6U (Regulation & Financial Reporting – United States)
- Exam 7 (Advanced Estimation of Claims Liabilities)
- Exam 8 (Advanced Ratemaking)
Who Can Write?
- FCAS: Eligible for all exams listed.
- ACAS: Eligible for MAS-I, MAS-II, PCPA, and all versions of Exam 6 (6C, 6I, 6U) (note: must wait 3 years before sitting for an exam).
- Have a strong understanding of the materials being covered.

Schedule Highlights:
- April 12: Evening arrival
- April 13: Full-day writing + reception
- April 14: Half-day writing, wrap by 3 PM
