Casualty Actuarial Society Names Kathleen C. Odomirok as President-Elect

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is pleased to announce that Kathleen C. Odomirok, FCAS, has been named president-elect of the organization for 2025-2026. Odomirok will begin her term at the close of the 2025 CAS Annual Meeting in November and will go on to serve as CAS president for 2026-2027.
A long-standing Fellow of the CAS (FCAS), Odomirok is a respected leader in the actuarial profession with more than 35 years of experience. She currently serves as a principal at EY and leader of EY’s core Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services (IAAS) practice. Over her career, she has advised reinsurance, government and corporate clients.
Odomirok has contributed significantly to the CAS over the years, serving in numerous volunteer roles across admissions, risk management, and programming. She also served on the CAS Board of Directors from 2019 to 2022 and has been actively engaged in mentoring and developing the next generation of actuaries. Odomirok has also played a significant role in advancing actuarial standards and education, serving as the lead author of Financial Reporting through the Lens of a Property/Casualty Actuary, a principal textbook for CAS Exam 6U.

The CAS also announced newly elected Board members: Shane Barnes, FCAS, global head of pricing at Lemonade; Kim Guerriero, FCAS, principal and consulting actuary at Milliman; Jamie Mills, FCAS, senior actuary and director of AI ratemaking tools at Allstate; and Sharon K. Robinson, FCAS, former SVP & chief pricing actuary at Zurich North America.
Barry Franklin, FCAS, founder and president of Upstate Actuarial LLC, will serve as CAS president for the 2025-2026 term.
