CAS Welcomes 2023 Fall Class of New Associates and Fellows

Over 500 insurance industry professionals recently earned their Associateship (ACAS) or Fellowship (FCAS) credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) by passing examinations given during the CAS’s Spring 2023 exam sitting.

The new classes of credential holders include 248 new Associates and 254 new Fellows; all have successfully completed the examinations, online courses, VEE requirements, and the Course on Professionalism required to earn CAS designations. The full list of names can be found online; recipients will be honored at a future CAS meeting.

For over 100 years, the CAS has been setting the standard of expertise, credibility, and professional integrity for the P&C actuarial profession, and the new credential holders join a vibrant community of over 10,000 CAS members sought after for their insights and ability to apply analytics to solve insurance and risk management problems.

“We’re thrilled to welcome our newest Associates and Fellows, who will bring valuable new perspectives, talents, and contributions to our profession,” said CAS President Roosevelt Mosley. “Their decision to be part of the CAS community reflects a strong commitment to the values and aspirations that we have for the P&C actuarial profession, including ensuring that CAS credentials remain the gold standard for property and casualty actuaries. CAS members continue to be sought after globally for their insights and ability to apply analytics to solve risk management problems, and in this we remain valuable assets to employers and organizations worldwide.”
