CAS Student Central Summer Program Volunteer Opportunities
The CAS is seeking volunteer mentors to participate in the 2022 CAS Student Central Summer Program, an eight-week interactive professional and educational experience for university students spanning June 13 thru August 5! This free online program, designed by practicing actuaries, will support students’ career growth by providing technical and soft skill development through a series of weekly modules. Complete program details are outlined in the following announcement.
Mentors are an integral component of the program, offering students the chance to connect with and learn from CAS members who provide guidance and help them navigate the program. Last year’s volunteers provided positive feedback on the experience:
“My enthusiasm for this program cannot be stated enough. I have finally found my calling as a CAS volunteer!” -Mentor from 2021 Program
Please review the detailed mentor description below and sign up through the mentor volunteer form.
We will also be recruiting CAS members and candidates for micro-volunteering opportunities including case competition judges, speakers, mock interviewers, and networking with students. To indicate an interest in being contacted for micro-volunteering opportunities, please share your contact information through this micro-volunteer form.
Description of Mentor Role:
