CAS Course On Professionalism - Asia Virtual COP Registration

CAS COURSE ON PROFESSIONALISM Asia Virtual COP REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT afternoon sessions, October 28-30, 2026

REGISTRATION/FEES

Attendance for each virtual course is limited to 40 participants. Priority will be given to candidates based on current progress towards ACAS. In order to successfully participate in the Asia virtual COP, candidates will need a strong internet connection and a personal device with a web camera, keyboard, and microphone. There will be additional required pre-work to be completed for the virtual course.

Registration opens July 24th, 2026 at 9:00 am (GMT+8). Registration will be taken on a first come/first register basis based on exam status.

If you have credit for exam 3F: Credit for any SIX actuarial exams in the 2026 education structure, regardless of Internet courses or VEE status.*

OR

If you do not have credit for exam 3F: Credit for any FIVE actuarial exams in the 2026 education structure, regardless of DISC courses or VEE status.

OR

If you are a Fellow of another organization applying for mutual recognition.

* Note: For this eligibility prerequisite, the actuarial exams are Exams 1, 2, 3F, MAS-I, MAS-II, PCPA, 5 and 6.

The registration fee for the Asia Virtual COP is $1050.00 USD.

ATTENDANCE

Please note that the same professionalism standards that are set for the in-person COP will be held for the virtual offerings. Candidates will be expected to attend and actively participate in the full course in order to receive the professionalism credit.

CANCELLATIONS

Registration fees will be refunded for cancellations received by October 21, 2026 less a $200 processing fee. Only written cancellations will be honoured, and they will be accepted by email to refund@casact.org.

PRELIMINARY REQUIREMENTS

1. E-Modules - All registered candidates will be required to view presentations on each of the ASOPs before attending the in-person course. These presentations, termed e-modules, consist of a series of slides with audio to guide you through the ASOP presentations. Each presentation contains questions placed throughout the slides that will need to be answered correctly to proceed and complete the presentation. Completion of each e-module for each candidate will be tracked by the CAS; to successfully complete the Course on Professionalism all presentations must be completed by the date noted in your confirmation email.

2. Communication Skills - Candidates will be required to complete pre-work on communication skills topics and should be prepared to use these skills during the course. This requirement takes approximately three hours.

3. Pre-Readings - There are several pre-readings that will help candidates to become familiar with and prepare to discuss professionalism topics.

A link for all preliminary requirements will be emailed to you post registration. The E-modules and Communications Skills will be due on October 14th, 2026.

ATTIRE

The attire for the Course is business casual.
