CAS Announces 2027 Exam Schedule

2027 Exam Dates

The Casualty Actuarial Society has released its 2027 exam schedule. In 2027, MAS-I and MAS-II will continue to be offered four times per year, and all other CAS exams except Exam 6I* will be offered twice, providing candidates with flexibility and more opportunities to advance through the CAS credentialing pathway.

The PCPA exam is offered continuously and the PCPA Project is available quarterly as follows: March 16-31, 2027, June 15-30, 2027, September 15-30, 2027, December 16-31, 2027.

2027 Exam Schedule

January–February 2027

  • MAS-I, MAS-II: January 27 – February 2

April–May 2027

  • Exams 5, 6C, 6U, 7, 8, 9: April 13 – April 20
  • MAS-I, MAS-II: April 21 – May 3

July–August 2027

  • MAS-I, MAS-II: July 28 – August 3

October–November 2027

  • Exams 5, 6C, 6I, 6U, 7, 8, 9: October 18 – October 26
  • MAS-I, MAS-II: October 27 – November 4

All CAS exams are delivered through computer-based testing at Pearson Professional Assessments test centers. Information on exam accommodations and holiday extensions can be found on the Exam Accommodations page.

Registration windows for the 2027 exams will be announced in the Syllabus of Basic Education in the coming months.

*Exam 6I will continue to be offered once per year during the October/November administration. We will continue to explore the possibility of offering more frequent sittings of 6I in the future.
