Call for Presentations 2026 CAS Spring Meeting

The Spring Meeting Working Group (SMWG) issues the Call for Presentations for the 2026 Spring Meeting. Speakers are expected to travel in-person to the meeting to present.
General sessions will be 75-minutes long. Concurrent sessions will be 60-minutes long. Roundtables will be 50-minutes long.
We are highly seeking sessions for these topics:
- Advanced Technical Skills (e.g. Excel, SQL, R, Python, XGBoost, TensorFlow)
- Alternative Risk Transfer
- Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning
- Generative AI for Technical Users
- Generative AI Ethics/Best Practices
- Generative AI for Developers
- Climate Risk
- Data Engineering/Management
- Emerging Technology (e.g. FinTech, Drones, Autonomous Vehicles)
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Fairness in Algorithms/Bias
- Leadership and Communication
- Lines of Business
- Reserving
- Special Topics
The 2026 proposal reviewers will also pay particular attention the following criteria:
- Sessions with interactive components such as case studies or group discussions.
- Informative and relevant, with clear and immediate application to the work of audience participants.
We are looking for sessions that focus more deeply on a narrow topic that will help the audience leave the session with solid understanding and useful applications.
