2026 CAS Seminar on Reinsurance Call For Presentations

The Reinsurance Seminar Working Group is seeking submissions of proposals for presentations at the 2026 Seminar on Reinsurance. Speakers are expected to travel in-person to present and concurrent sessions will be 60 minutes long. As this will be a hybrid event, some of the sessions may be livestreamed.
This year we are looking for sessions in these areas of interest:
- Cyber Topics
- Parametric Coverage/Insurance
- AI and Reinsurance
- Claims
- Alternative Reserving Methodologies
- Abnormal/Truncated Data Sets
- Reinsurance Pricing by Frequency and Severity
- Leadership/Soft Skills
The 2026 proposal reviewers will also pay particular attention to the following criteria:
- Informative and relevant, with clear and immediate application to the work of audience participants.
- Strong proposals will focus tightly on specific content rather than including every aspect of the topic and will include opportunities for learner engagement.
We are looking for sessions that focus more deeply on a narrow topic that will help the audience leave the session with solid understanding and useful applications.
