The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and the Society of Actuaries (SOA) jointly published a full report of findings from the 17th Annual Emerging Risk Survey.

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) is excited to announce the winners of the 2024 CAS Trust Scholarship!  This honor was created to further students’ interest in the property and casualty actuarial profession and encourage the pursuit of the CAS designations.

The CAS is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability around our diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) efforts, as part of the CAS Strategic Approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion adopted by the Board of Directors in February 2022.

All CAS members and active candidates are invited to participate in an engaging Town Hall about the next iteration of the CAS Strategic Plan.

As CAS admissions leadership and staff work diligently with psychometricians to release the April/May results by the end of July, we understand that candidates have questions as to why results are delayed.

The CAS conducted its third bi-annual Candidate Survey in July 2023. The survey was developed by volunteers and staff from the Candidate Advocate Working Group (CAWG) in partnership with Association Research, Inc. (ARI).
