Attendees will be divided into breakout groups to discuss:

  • What is working well to facilitate collaboration?
  • What could help improve collaboration?
  • Where are there opportunities for different groups (e.g., chairs, committees, Executive Council, Board, staff) to lean in more or in a different way?

The session will conclude with reports from the breakout groups and an open discussion among attendees of ways to foster better collaboration.

Goal Setting Session

Based on all of the information about initiatives underway within the CAS discussed this far, the final session of the day will serve as a working session to identify broad themes and goals for 2023-24 by functional areas. In some cases, this session will build upon meetings held the prior day.

Staff and volunteer leaders will gather by functional area to discuss themes and goals, and then share their 2023-24 plans with all attendees.
