In the past year Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has been at the forefront of conversations in the actuarial profession. As the topic has expanded, many of us have proclaimed that we are allies to minority groups. But, what does it really mean to be an ally? In this webinar, members of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance of Actuaries will help CAS members understand the importance of allyship and what you need to do to be a better ally in both your professional and personal life.

Learning Objectives:

  • Advocate, Ally, Activist. What are the differences?
  • How to be a better ally in the workplace?
  • What you can do to let members of a community know that you are an ally.
  • How to change you own workplace mentality.
