Awards for Service to the Profession

Michelbacher Significant Achievement Award
This award is to recognize a person or persons who have significantly and fundamentally advanced casualty actuarial science.
New Member Award
This award is made to those who have made significant volunteer contributions within five years of their most recent credential.
The Above & Beyond Achievement Award
This award is given to those who have made a recent contribution that is above and beyond what is reasonably expected.
The Matthew Rodermund Memorial Service Award
This award is intended to recognize those who have made significant contributions to the profession over the course of a career.
CAS University Award Program
The CAS University Award Program recognizes schools doing exemplary work in preparing students for a career in the property and casualty insurance industry.

The scholarship is being used to benefit deserving and academically outstanding students in the actuarial program of the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Iowa.
