|2006 International Congress of Actuaries|
|The Web Site of the 2006 International Congress of Actuaries includes comprehensive information about the event. The IAA's four sections (ASTIN, AFIR, IACA, IAAHS), have all agreed to take an active part in the congress, by organising certain sessions. The program, with a rich and varied content, will enable everyone to take advantage of the congress according to his or her own specialty area or particular interests : scientific topics, professional topics, technical topics, ASTIN topics, AFIR topics, health topics, whatever the option chosen: * attend the congress throughout the week. * attend the first part of the congress. * attend the second part of the congress.|
The Emerging Economies Education (3E) Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation founded in February 2001. The work of 3E takes place in emerging economies or minority communities within established economies.
Mission: A charity working within emerging economies to promote and support the education of Actuarial Sciences, support the development of the actuarial profession, and facilitate research projects, e.g. exploring the long term effects of the pandemic outbreaks of AIDS/HIV on the socio-economic structures.

|International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)|
|The International Accounting Standards Board is an independent, privately-funded accounting standard setter based in London, UK. Board Members come from nine countries and have a variety of functional backgrounds. The Board is committed to developing, in the public interest, a single set of high quality, understandable and enforceable global accounting standards that require transparent and comparable information in general purpose financial statements. In addition, the Board cooperates with national accounting standard setters to achieve convergence in accounting standards around the world.|
|International Actuarial Calendar|
|This international continuing education calendar was created on behalf of the International Actuarial Association (IAA) by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) for use by actuaries and others worldwide. This calendar can be searched for board meetings and continuing education events by program name, sponsoring organization(s), month and year of event, keywords which appear in the program description, or where the event will take place, such as city, state/province, country, and/or geographic region. The search results can then be printed. Hotlinks to IAA member or other web sites containing additional information on the program event are provided where available.
