CAS Web Site Privacy Statement
Aggregate data for Website visitors ("Users"), such as number of hits per page, are generated. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information.
All information collected on the CAS Website is submitted voluntarily. Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Statement, it is CAS’ general policy not to share any of the information collected on the CAS Website with third parties without User’s consent. Information collected on the CAS Website may include e-mail registration to mailing lists, registration to discussion forums, registration of passwords to secure areas of the Web site, online surveys, feedback forms, and advertising. We may ask for your name, organization name, business phone, address, e-mail address, and feedback or other information. CAS may also collect publicly available information about Users from other sources, such as information from newspapers, blogs, and commercial websites.
Information submitted on registration forms for CAS meetings and seminars are provided to meeting and seminar sponsors and exhibitors as a benefit of sponsorship and exhibiting. For those CAS events that include sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities, the registration forms include a check-box to opt-out of the attendee lists provided to sponsors and exhibitors.
We publicly post the names of those individuals who have earned ACAS, FCAS, CERA, and CSPA designations.
CAS Fellows and Associates are included in the publicly available online membership dircetory. All members, active candidates, subscribers, members of CAS Student Central, and members of CAS Academic Central are included in the directory accessible through the CAS online community.
We may share information about CAS members and candidates with CAS Regional Affiliates. These organizations may use your personal data to contact you about their activities or other topics which may be of interest to you.
Disclosure of Information
Our sole purpose in gathering the information described above is to provide programs and information , improve our Web content, and respond to visitors interests and needs. Except for purposes stated in the Shared Information above, it is CAS’ general policy not to share any of the information collected on the website with third parties without User’s consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, CAS will divulge any information collected from Users on the website if required to do so by law or legal process. In addition, in the event that CAS’ assets are assigned, User’s information will be one of the transferred assets.
If you have specific requests concerning CAS’s disclosure of information practices, you may email email@example.com of your request. In addition, information changes can be completed in the My Information section after logging into the CAS website.

CAS does not disclose credit card information provided by its members and customers.
