Would you like to put your data science skills to the test?

Imperial College London, Universite du Quebec a Montreal (UQAM), and actuarial institutes in the US, Singapore, the UK, including the CAS, IFoA, and Australia are co-organising a global data science competition.

We are hosting two competitions with separate datasets, a pricing competition in a simulated market hosted on AI Crowd using real historical motor insurance data, and a loss prediction competition on Kaggle with synthetic workers’ compensation data.

The competition is being sponsored by a number of different organisations including the Casualty Actuarial Society, Singapore Actuarial Society and the Australian Actuarial Institute, with a total of $12,000 USD in cash prizes to be won.
