Message to CAS Members in Canada

The CAS is aware that this year's Spring Meeting in Vancouver occurs over Canada's Victoria Day and regrets any inconvenience this may cause our Canadian members. There are a number of considerations that are taken into account when selecting the dates of CAS Meetings, including meeting space availability. Unfortunately, when all factors were considered, the conflict of the Spring Meeting date with Victoria Day was unavoidable in 2013. The CAS will continue to consider a variety of potential conflicts when selecting meeting dates and strive to avoid conflicts for all constituents to the extent possible in the future.
