The Joint Program Committee for Reinsurance Seminars is pleased to present a Limited Attendance Seminar on Catastrophes. The last two hurricane seasons have brought a lot of changes to the catastrophe market, leading to an increased focus on hurricane peril. This one-day limited attendance seminar is designed to provide the participants a deeper understanding of catastrophe modeling and of the latest issues. The seminar will take place at the Westin New York located in Times Square. Topics to be covered will include:

Rating Agency Analysis of Cat Exposures

Lessons Learned in Catastrophe Modeling

Attendance is limited to a maximum of 100 participants. Attendees will be selected on a first registered, first accepted basis.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the evening of Sunday, September 17 at a negotiated group rate of $399.00 per night for a single or double room. CANCELLATIONS

The registration fee will be refunded for a cancellation received by September 11, less a $50 processing fee. Only written cancellations will be honored. Cancellation requests can be faxed to (703) 276-3108 and e-mailed to meetings@casact.org.
