Registration fees include all meeting materials, as well as evening receptions on Sunday and Monday, continental breakfast and refreshment breaks on Monday and Tuesday, and lunch on Monday.

Registrations received after March 3, 2008 will be subject to a $100 late fee. The CAS Office staff will send a confirmation by mail to all registrants.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees will be refunded for cancellations received by the CAS Office no later than March 10, 2008, less a $100 processing fee. Only written cancellations will be honored and may be faxed to (703) 276-3108 or e-mailed to refund@casact.org.

In the event that a CAS meeting is canceled, participants receive a full refund for registration fees paid. Transportation costs or fees are the responsibility of each attendee, and are therefore not reimbursable by the CAS.

Attire

Business casual attire is suggested for all sessions, as well as the evening receptions on Sunday and Monday. As meeting room temperatures and personal comfort levels may vary, it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. In Boston, the average high temperature during March is 46 degrees and the average low is 31 degrees.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for the evenings of March 16 and 17, 2008. Rates are $179 plus tax for a single or double room. Hotel reservations must be made by February 22, 2008 in order to receive the negotiated rate; please be sure to inform the hotel that you are attending the Casualty Actuarial Society Seminar on Ratemaking.
