Monaghan Wins Ratemaking Prize
James E. Monaghan, ACAS, MAAA, won the 2000 Ratemaking Prize for his paper, "The Impact of Personal Credit History on Loss Performance in Personal Lines." Monaghan has worked for Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance Company in Warwick, Rhode Island since 1987. He has been responsible for pricing, reserving, strategic planning, research, and developing expert systems.
