Past Proceedings Available on the Web

Are you running out of room on your bookshelf because it is filled with CAS publications? With the recent addition of 30 past issues of the Proceedings of the Casualty Actuarial Society to the CAS Web Site, you may be able to free up some space.

The Committee on Online Services (COOS) is committed to providing CAS publications electronically through the CAS Web Site. The Committee initially established procedures to capture publications as they are released. With that process in place, COOS focused on capturing publications from the past.

The most recent 20 years of Proceedings from 1976-1995 were scanned as PDF files and are available for download through the Publications section of the Web site. In addition, 10 issues of Proceedings from pre-1976 that contain an article on the Syllabus of Examinations were scanned, for a total of 30 issues now available for download.

PDF files can be read with the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free.
