1997 Seminar: Actuaries Ride Through Boston
The actuaries are coming to Boston- but not for a tea party.The CAS will host the 1997 CAS Seminar on Ratemaking at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston on March 13-14. New sessions this year are:
The seminar will feature sessions for actuaries at various levels of expertise and experience, including basic concepts and methods, catastrophe topics, data management topics, rein-surance topics, workers compensation topics, and 23 miscellaneous topics.

- The Broker and the Actuary
- Workers Compensation-Introduction to Experience and Retrospective Rating

- Data Quality and External Data Sources
- Excess Workers Compensation: Current Issues, and
- Qualification Standards
The seminar will also feature two call paper programs, one focusing on ratemaking topics, and the other on data management topics.
