Faculty Position Available at UCFThe Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Central Florida invites applications for an assistant professor of actuarial science to start August 2005. Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. by date of hire, and demonstrated or potential for excellence in both teaching and research in actuarial science. Preference will be given to applicants who are Associates or Fellows of one of the professional actuarial societies, and have some experience as practicing actuaries. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an advanced undergraduate/graduate education and research program in actuarial science.
