Homer and Clark Win Top Paper Prize
Don Mango, CAS vice president-research and development, announced
David L. Homer and David R. Clark as winners of the 2004 Dorweiler
Prize. The award commemorates the work of Paul Dorweiler and is awarded
for the best Proceedings paper submitted each year by an
Associate or Fellow who attained his or her designation more than five
years ago. Homer and Clark's winning paper, "Insurance Applications of
Bivariate Distributions," is published in the 2003 Proceedings of
the Casualty Actuarial Society.
