The IAA is the international organization dedicated to the research, education and development of the actuarial profession and of actuarial organizations. It is the link between actuaries and their associations worldwide.

The CAS is a member association of the IAA. All CAS Fellows are members of the IAA with dues paid for by the CAS. The American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) is also a member of the IAA and all members of the AAA are members of the IAA with dues paid for by the AAA.
