CFA Work Experience Guidelines Revised

The work experience guidelines are changing for award of the Chartered Financial Analyst Charter for candidates who are registering for the 2005 program or still in the program after July 1, 2007. One change of interest to actuaries is that "Actuary" is no longer on the list of representative job titles. However, the guidelines do say, "The following job titles are provided as a guide only. Job titles alone cannot convey the true nature of the underlying job duties." It is actual duties, rather than title, that will determine whether the experience requirement is fulfilled.
