2010 CAS High School Scholarship for Diversity
The CAS Scholarship program awards $500 college scholarships to minority high school students with a high aptitude in math. The purpose of the scholarship is to further students' interest in the property/casualty actuarial profession.
Applicants must be a permanent resident of the U.S. or Canada, or have a permanent resident visa. Applicants must also have demonstrated high scholastic achievement and a strong interest in mathematics or a mathematics-related field. Winners of the scholarship will be honored at the CAS Annual Meeting in Washington DC in November.
