Life Protection Seminar Call for Papers
Building on last year’s success, the Singapore Actuarial Society and the Life Insurance Association of Singapore will be jointly organising its 2nd Annual Life Protection Seminar on the theme of “Protection beyond the national schemes”. Please save the date for this seminar that will be held on 5 October 2010 in Singapore at the M Hotel.
The national schemes in Singapore offer a basic level of protection, however the LIA Protection Gap study has shown that Singaporeans’ protection needs are underserved. This seminar is to explore ways that will decrease the protection gap via product innovation, targeted marketing and education of consumers of their needs. We are now inviting timely and high-quality paper contributions from you with particular relevance to Singapore and to the seminar’s theme “Protection beyond the national schemes”. Protection for this conference is focused on life insurance, critical illness, long term care and disability income insurance.
Please refer to the attached Call for Speakers for details and paper submission requirements. The extended deadline for papers is July 23rd for international speakers. Details on registration for the conference as a participant will be sent shortly.
