Online Balloting is the Default Voting Method in the 2010 CAS Elections
05/12/2010 —
Again in 2010, Fellows can vote in the CAS elections either online or using a paper ballot. Online voting is the default method of voting. On July 30, 2010, CAS will notify Fellows by e-mail that the online voting booths are open. The e-mail will include a link to the password-protected ballot. The ballot itself includes links to candidate information to assist voters in making a decision.
Fellows who wish to vote through the mail using paper must submit a request for a paper ballot by July 2, 2010. If you requested a paper ballot for the 2009 elections, you will automatically receive a paper ballot for the 2010 elections.
There are two ways to submit a request for a paper ballot:
- Send an e-mail to office@casact.org.
- Call the Actuaries' Resource Center (703-276-3100).
Paper ballots will be mailed on July 30, 2010. Fellows who do not have an e-mail address on file with the CAS Office will automatically receive a paper ballot.
Please contact Mike Boa (mboa@casact.org) with any questions or comments.
