AERF to Sponsor 1999 Wooddy Scholarships
The Actuarial Education and Research Fund (AERF) is sponsoring the 4th Annual Wooddy Scholarship Program. John Culver Wooddy, a distinguished former actuary, earmarked funds in his estate for scholarships to actuarial students.
Undergraduate students who rank in the top quartile of their class, have successfully completed one actuarial examination, and will have senior standing in the semester after receiving the scholarship are eligible. Four scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded for academic year 1999-2000.
