AAA Launches TRACE, an Online CE Tracking Tool

07/01/2009 —

TRACE is a new web-based tool that allows you to quickly and easily maintain an ongoing record of your continuing education credits online and in one place.

It’s as easy as logging on to www.MyTRACE.org and following the prompts. As you get started with TRACE, note that:

  • TRACE was developed to work with the CE rules established by the actuarial profession’s U.S. Qualification Standards for Actuaries Issuing Statement of Actuarial Opinions in the U.S. So, it provides the appropriately aligned information fields, links to the standards, and helpful FAQs. However, data accuracy is still the responsibility of the actuary.
  • The tool includes a pull-down menu listing CE offerings made available to actuaries by the Academy, ASPPA, CAS, CCA and SOA, so that members may simply point-and-click to pre-populate their new entries quickly and conveniently.
  • It also provides the ability to enter CE activities that are not sponsored by actuarial organizations.

It’s better and easier than a spreadsheet! Log on to www.MyTRACE.org and track your continuing education credits with TRACE.
