2009 CLRS Call for Presentations
The Casualty Actuarial Society invites you to be a part of an exciting seminar for fall 2009. The 2009 Casualty Loss Reserve Seminar (CLRS) Planning Committee is soliciting your submission of proposals for presentations at the upcoming seminar scheduled for September 13-15, 2009 at the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile, Chicago, IL.
The Planning Committee is issuing this Call for Presentations to solicit ideas for professional content and identify outstanding speakers for the 2009 event. The 2009 CLRS committee wants your ideas for sessions that will deliver outstanding value to the top risk management professionals globally while exciting and engaging attendees.
The following are suggested general themes/tracks for CLRS sessions/topics. These are simply broad guidelines, and the Committee welcomes additional ideas outside these areas, provided they fall within the scope of Loss Reserving. The intent is to address various practical applications and insights across a broad spectrum of industries to foster cross-pollination and collaboration of Loss Reserving professionals no matter what area of discipline, geography, or sector they practice in.

Please submit your proposed session title, session description, speaker(s) and other requested information using the online submission process, http://cas.confex.com/cas/clrs09/cfp.cgi by March 18, 2009. The invitations to participate in the program will be extended by May 1. Please note that real-life applications, hands-on/interactive sessions, and practical case studies will be favored.
