Kollar earned his Fellowship in the CAS in 1975. Since then, he has served on the Board of Directors and on the Executive Council as Vice President of Admissions and, most recently, as the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management. He has also served on a number of CAS committees, including the Enterprise Risk Management, Dynamic Financial Analysis Advisory, and Syllabus committees. Kollar earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Fordham University. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
The Casualty Actuarial Society fulfills its mission to advance actuarial science through a focus on research and education. Among its 4,500 members are experts in property-casualty insurance, reinsurance, finance, risk management, and enterprise risk management.
