RE: Study Materials

I actually passed Part 7 last time, but forgot to remove my name from
the study list. That said, I don't mind providing my insight before
saying adios & good luck to you all!
I found the NEAS seminar material to be extremely helpful last year.
They provided a suggested order of study, general overviews & tips on
each reading, and in-depth summaries of the material. Depending on
how you feel about Sholom Feldblum's comments, you may find his
opinions on the readings mildly annoying or a welcome break from the
seriousness of the authors. (He wrote last year's Suggested Order of
Study & quite a few of the summaries.)
However, I didn't attend the seminar because I didn't want to spend
that much time listening to presentations of material already provided
in the written seminar material. I had attended their Part 6 seminar
largely for the Robbin & D'Arcy explanations, but felt that there
weren't any readings in the Part 7 syllabus that required that level
of explanation.
Unfortunately, NEAS didn't offer the seminar material separate from
the seminar, so I had to pay the full price for attending the seminar
& have the extra material submitted at the seminar sent to me after
the seminar was over.
Hope this helps!
Ain
